To see excerpts from the Missing Letters book itself, visit the Excerpts and Info page, with beautiful illustrations by Leon Thomas. To see other missing letter sketches from Leon, Samuel, and kids, visit the Word Games page. If you think of a missing letter word pair or have a sketch to share, you’re welcome to put it in the Replies/Comments at the bottom of this page or submit to the Missing Letters Contest and Book Giveaway.

Below are some activity sheets that can be used with Pre-K to 1st Grade students (Level 1) or with 1st – 3rd Grade students (Level 2). You can choose DOCX editable versions or PDF versions. These literacy worksheets promote phonemic awareness for children learning their letter sounds and also encourage play with language, plus opportunities to draw and solve puzzles!
